FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Precision Serving Clinic
General
Is this just a 3-hour clinic?
No. The Mar 7 clinic is the kickoff to a 30-day serving program. It includes:
- A 3-hour intensive serving clinic on Mar 7
- 30 days of guided serving training
- 4 virtual check-ins
- A final test day to measure progress
What is VB Champs?
VB Champs is a focused volleyball training brand that offers selective, small-group
clinics and programs designed to improve technical skill, decision-making, and performance.
Where are clinics held?
Facilities may vary by cohort. Exact location details are provided once an athlete is accepted
into a specific clinic.
Eligibility & Application
Who can apply for the Precision Serving Clinic?
The clinic is currently designed for girl’s volleyball athletes in grades 8–11 who can already
serve overhand with reasonable consistency and want to improve accuracy, control, and power.
Do I need to submit a video of my serve in order to qualify?
No, Video submission is not required in order to qualify for the clinic. However, video can strengthen your chances to qualify and allows us to verify that the clinic is the right fit for your current level, and helps
us identify common patterns in the group before Training Day.
What happens after I submit my application?
Your video and responses are manually reviewed. If you qualify and there is space in the cohort,
you will receive an email with payment and next steps. If the cohort is full, you may be offered
a reserved spot in a future clinic.
Payment & Policies
What is the cost of the Precision Serving Clinic?
The clinic fee is $600 per athlete, paid in full to confirm your spot once accepted.
Are there refunds if we cannot attend?
Because spots are limited, payments are generally non-refundable. Exceptions or partial
refunds may be considered at the discretion of VB Champs in special circumstances.
Is the clinic price the same for every cohort?
Pricing is currently set at $600 per athlete for this program. If pricing changes in the future,
it will be clearly indicated for each new cohort.
Implementation & Testing
How does the 30-day Implementation Phase work?
Athletes train on their own time using the corrections and priorities identified on Training Day.
Three virtual check-ins (weeks 1, 2, 3 and 4) are used to review progress, adjust focus, and prepare
for Testing Day.
What if an athlete cannot attend Testing Day?
If an athlete cannot attend the scheduled Testing Day, options are limited and handled on a
case-by-case basis. Completion and recognition are only awarded once the testing standard is met.
Does completing the clinic guarantee a roster spot on a specific team?
No. Completion of the clinic indicates that a technical standard has been met in serving. It does
not guarantee placement on any school, club, or regional roster. We do anticipate, however, that as trust continues to grow in our process and our standards, successful completion of our programs will lend itself to favorable recruiting opportunities.
